Portable XRF window screwdriver
Description
This small Phillips screwdriver is an essential tool in any XRF kit. It is used for replacing used and damaged windows on the portable XRF.
Why use this?
All XRF windows are held in place by a plate. This helps to keep the window in place as well as better protect the inside components. For Bruker S1 TITANs this screwdriver helps to remove the plate to change the window. The Portable Spectral Services Service Desk recommend changing windows regularly during frequent sample analysis and when the window is accidentally damaged (therefore has an entry to let in contaminants) at any time.
Who needs this?
We highly recommended to anyone that owns their Bruker S1 TITAN XRF to have a Phillips screwdriver handy in their kit for changing windows.
